Empingham Bowls club has a very warm welcome to everyone of all ages, sizes and abilities.

Whether you want to play seriously in Stamford league division one or dimply to spend a leisurely afternoon or evening in a friendly match, we can give you a game.

We also have a league team in a lower division for those who maybe want to hone their skills before venturing into the higher league.

The bowls club has been in Empingham for over 50 years. We have in excess of 60 members and we are always looking for new players, both men and women, to come and join the fun.

You may consider bowls to be a sport for "oldies". Our youngest player is in fact in his early twenties. Our oldest is in fact 80 something and still going strong.

It really is a sport for all ages and abilities. We have first timers who are learning their skills in mid week friendlies, either in the afternoon or early evenings.

What ever you want to do we can cater for your needs. It is a friendly club with good facilities. We are affiliated to the (very) local cricket club and therefore can offer some after match refreshment on most days.

It is a great way to meet other people, to take part and indeed be a part, of this wonderful village.

So come on you aspiring sports enthusiasts. Give one of us a call and have a chat. Arrange to come a watch a game. Arrange to have a go – someone will be on hand to help you gat started.

We also have some great social events including a summer fun day, Christmas Party, coffee mornings and fun night to name but a few.
